To achieve Active Member status, members must attend at least 4 meetings per semester, including a minimum of 2 speaker meetings. Active Members receive a range of benefits, including eligibility for a graduation cord (graduating seniors), priority consideration for Executive Board applications, priority registration for the Annual Banquet/Soirée, exclusive giveaways, and additional perks.
Members who pay their dues automatically qualify as General Members. While participation is not mandatory at this level, General Members are welcome to attend meetings and events held throughout the semester. General Members do not receive Active Member perks but are encouraged to increase their involvement in order to meet the participation requirements and earn Active Member status
A Special Status Member is someone who is unable to meet the Active Member attendance requirements due to significant academic, professional, or personal commitments, such as studying abroad, completing an internship, or other approved circumstances. Members must request Special Status and receive approval from the Executive Board. If approved, they will remain eligible for Active Member benefits, including consideration for a graduation cord (if a graduating senior) and priority Executive Board applications, provided they continue to meet any additional requirements established by the Executive Board.
